Sri Lankan Engineers in South Australia – SLESA New Year Hampers Distribution Project in Sri Lanka
I am so excited to announce that the SLESA new year hamper distribution project has been successfully completed on the 12th and 13th of April. We have managed to distribute hampers each worth Rs. 11400/= among 77 families in 4 villages, Kudamaduwa/Piliyandala, Aluthgama/Bandaragama, Narawalpita/Hakmana and Matara. All these families expressed their gratitude to SLESA. Even though we have started this project as a new year hamper project, finally it meant a lot more than that to these families due to the prevailing situation in the country.
On behalf of SLESA, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the people who made donations towards this project, area coordinators, sole food supplier MSS -Micro Smart Super, Bokundara, and the transport provider.
I am so happy to be a part of this project and personally, this is the best SLESA project I have participated in so far. Even though you only see me in the pictures the entire SLESA family has worked tirelessly towards the success of this project.
We hope SLESA can accomplish such projects in the years to come.
