Please excuse me for posting this but this is a time that our fellow Sri Lankans struggle without even the basics. While I fully support celebrating Sinhalese and Tamil New Year here in Adelaide, I feel really sad that people living in Sri Lanka don’t have that opportunity this year 😥. I would like to see everyone getting together to send the basic stuff the people need during this difficult time. Especially the medical stuff. Doctors are sending out humble requests for medical equipment donations such as neonatal tubes required for new born babies which is in dangerous shortage. I’m quite new to Adelaide but I’m sure people who have been here for years and years know where to turn for support in this regard. Shall we look for every possibility to help our little babies born in Sri Lanka and other innocent poor people suffering at this time? We will do our best in this regard 💪
