Face masks will be required in schools from tomorrow (Wednesday 28 July) until further notice.

Face masks must be worn by:
➡️ Students in Year 8 and above while indoors and while travelling on school buses or public transport
➡️ Adults while indoors (except when teaching or engaging with students), and while travelling on school buses or public transport
➡️ All adult visitors to sites, including to Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sites.

The following exemptions apply to:
⏺️ Primary school students, Early Childhood staff and children, and any child in a disability setting
⏺️ Staff when teaching or engaging with students
⏺️ Staff and students when outside, including during practical PE lessons
⏺️ Students and staff if they have an illness, condition or disability, such as problems with their breathing, a serious facial skin condition, or a mental health condition.

Face masks help stop the spread of COVID-19, and by wearing one, students and staff will play a part in protecting their community.
