Just thought of sharing an update on the ET tubes situation (for new born babies) recieved through un-official channels.
After talking to representatives from the Perinatal society of SL who put out the oiginal request and reaching out to contacts from Kalubovila & LRH hospitals, It’s clear that they have addressed the short term issue of ET tubes availability. However going forwards there can be shortages of other essential medical items. Hence If you were thinking of donating towards supply of ET tubes, it’s probably best to save your resources and efforts for future requests for help on shortages of medical items and other charity events along same lines.
