Currie Street, 1911 (approx) ..viewed across King William Street showing a mix of motor and horse-drawn and some smart ‘new’ looking cars parked at the kerb. The ‘famous’ men’s underground dunny can just be seen on the bottom left. An electric tram, number 87, makes its way along the centre of the street, and a man in the foreground is sweeping the tram tracks. The premises of the Adelaide Steamship Company are seen on the left, further down the sign of Colton, Palmer & Preston can be made out. ..
