Australia Day in the city Parade will commence at 6.00 pm on the 26th of January from Victoria square in the city and will proceed north along King William Street to Elder Park, near the Adelaide Oval.
There will be an official Sri Lankan contingent participating at this event for the first time and will comprise of of national flag bearers, dance groups, music and a colourful cultural float. Around 50 Sri Lankans from all the different ethnic groups living in Adelaide will be joining hands to showcase our rich cultural heritage.
You and your family are cordially invited to gather along the parade path to cheer and support the Sri Lankan contingent.
